About Rewind

If you're looking for a spirituality based addiction treatment in a suburban corner of Perham, Minnesota, REWIND's program may be for you. This is a 12 Step based program for adults 18 and older. They offer both residential and general outpatient programs. Their residential programs are considered low intensity and are located in a small town setting. Time in the residential programs can take 90 days or more depending on your progress and needs.

As for payment, REWIND accepts most insurance plans. REWIND is conveniently located near many of Perham's amenities, including Big Pine Lake and some local parks. They partner with several employment agencies, which can make it a bit easier to find steady work.

REWIND was founded in 2004 on the belief that the spiritual aspect of recovery is important but sometimes overlooked. In REWIND's program, it takes a prominent role alongside counseling and therapeutic activities. It also has a focus on peer support, as those in the residential program attend two AA or NA meetings each week and get a sponsor for the 12 Steps.

Unlike some residential programs, REWIND is low intensity. There are fewer restrictions on what you can and can't do (though there are still requirements, like the previously mentioned NA/AA meetings). You'll enjoy plenty of leisure time with other residents, and can even go into the community for employment if you so desire. Ultimately, REWIND's program aims to teach you to change behaviors through personal accountability and coping skills. You'll also learn how you can rely on your support community and faith.

If you're looking for faith based treatment that's less intensive still, you may like their outpatient option. You'll have two sessions a week for 10 weeks, with each session lasting two hours. The advantage of the outpatient program, besides not requiring a residential stay, is that you can participate in one on one sessions. This can make treatment more palatable for you if you prefer total privacy or simply don't want to engage in a group.

Alcoholism

The goal of alcohol rehab in Minnesota is to help you make mental and behavioral changes that lead to recovery and long-term sobriety. Most methods rely on a combination of group and individual counseling to accomplish these goals.

Drug Rehab

Drug rehab in Minnesota often starts with assessment. Once needs are determined, the individual typically begins treatment with detox, then enters rehab, and finally receives aftercare once the program is complete. This continuum of care offers appropriate levels of support at each stage to help the individual achieve long-term recovery.

Men's Rehab

Individuals who attend men’s rehab in Minnesota can expect to spend much of their days in therapy sessions. Therapy is focused on men only, and teaches men how to control urges and cravings and live a healthy, sober lifestyle.

Opioid Treatment

After evaluating your needs and budget, staff at opioid rehab in Minnesota will help you determine the length of your treatment and its intensity level, to properly address your degree of opioid dependence. Most programs include detox, addiction therapy, specialized care, and aftercare support.

Women's Rehab

During women’s rehab in Minnesota, women participate in evidence-based therapies to treat their substance use disorders. Therapy methods include individual, group, family, cognitive-behavioral, and dialectical behavior therapy.

Teen & Adolescent Program

Recovery is not the same for young adults as it is for older individuals. A young adult program in Minnesota treats the patient as a whole, addressing unique life-stage challenges, dual diagnosis issues, and substance abuse.
