About Renew Your Mind

Located on East Fireweed Lane in the North Star area of Anchorage, Alaska is Renew Your Mind, a private, non-profit substance abuse rehab facility. They provide outpatient services to adults 18 years of age and older and treat both alcohol and drug addiction. Treatment modalities include cognitive/behavioral therapy, substance abuse and relapse prevention education, rational emotive behavioral therapy, anger management, and motivational interviewing. Both individual and group sessions are available, and family counseling is sometimes provided.

Renew Your Mind accepts Spanish speaking individuals and accepts individuals with DUI charges. They also accept individuals who are currently receiving methadone medication treatment. Renew Your Mind utilizes self-payment methods, either cash or Tribal-related vouchers. They are CARF and SAMHSA certified and licensed by the state of Alaska.
