About Renew Counseling Center

Renew Counseling and Psychological Services is a teaching facility on the Southern Nazarene University (SNU) campus. They’re located in Bethany, Oklahoma. It’s a holistic well-being clinic that offers psychological assessments and counseling for various behavioral and mental health conditions.

They provide their services to the public, and one of the great things about it is the sliding fee scale for sessions, based on staff experience. For example, as of this writing, community clients can access counseling sessions for as little as $40 from a masters level student, with the fee increasing to $180 for a Licensed Psychologist.

Plus, Renew is in network with many major insurance providers. They also provide free counseling and reduced counseling session fees to SNU LAB School students, faculty, and staff. Undergraduate SNU students can access up to free counseling sessions and further sessions are offered at a significantly reduced fee.

Renew offers individual, couples, and family therapy, and group counseling to clients of all ages. Concerns addressed include addiction and substance use, as well as common co-occuring conditions such as depression, anxiety, and grief. They use proven treatment approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to help clients understand the underlying causes of their addiction and learn healthy coping strategies to deal with the challenges of life.

There are over 70 clinicians at Renew Counseling and Psychological Services with different levels of experience and specialties. Therefore, every client, no matter the challenges they face with substance use or mental health issues, will find a clinician at Renew that can help.
