About Region Ten Wellness Recovery Center

The Region Ten Community Service Board has multiple locations in Charlottesville, Virginia, including this campus on Old Lynchburg Road. They offer substance use treatment and Family Recovery Court along with a variety of other outpatient and residential programs.

Region Ten accepts Medicaid, private insurance, and patients with no insurance coverage. If you don’t have insurance, they can help you enroll in Medicaid or offer you a sliding fee scale.

Residential and Outpatient Substance Use Treatment

The Old Lynchburg Road location provides both residential and outpatient services for substance use and co occurring mental health disorders.

The residential program includes evidence based treatment along with classes in daily living skills, socialization opportunities, and vocational support. They also make sure you know what community resources are available to help you stay stable once you finish the program.

Outpatient services include individual and group therapy in an intensive outpatient program (IOP) or through general outpatient care. The IOP provides at least nine hours of treatment per week.

Everyone in the substance use treatment programs has access to peer support as well. Peers have been through addiction and recovery and can encourage you and connect you to the appropriate resources for your journey.

Family Recovery Court

Region Ten also works with the court system to help parents get the treatment they need to establish long term recovery. This helps improve the chances that the family will be able to live together and helps participants avoid more serious legal consequences.

The Court program has five phases and includes drug screenings and court appearances. You’ll participate in a substance use IOP and receive individual counseling and peer support as well.
