About Recovery Network Of Programs Inc

Recovery Network of Programs (RNP) has provided vital recovery care and support services to the Greater Bridgeport community in Connecticut for 50 years. They offer tailored care for individuals across the region seeking lasting solutions for substance use, mental health and primary medical needs. Their substance use care continuum spans detox and inpatient residential care as well as outpatient care and medication assisted treatment. Recovery Counseling Services is one of their specialized outpatient programs for adults facing substance use, mental health and gambling addiction challenges in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

Inclusive Addiction Treatment in Bridgeport

This facility is located on Fairfield Avenue, a short walk southeast of Beardsley Park and just over a mile west of both the Barnum Museum and Klein Memorial Auditorium. They boast a supportive and safe healing environment with staff trained in trauma informed, gender specific and culturally sensitive care. I like that they’re very inclusive with support extended to those living with HIV/AIDS and LGBTQ+ clients. They even support individuals involved in the criminal justice system including those connected to the court, probation or parole.

Flexible and Integrated Care For Long Term Success

Recovery Counseling Services takes a whole-person approach that addresses substance use, co occurring mental health conditions and other challenges that can impact long term abstinence. Services include intake assessment and personalized care planning alongside psychoeducation and therapeutic support. They can link or refer you to detox or inpatient residential services if your assessment indicates a need for these higher levels of care.

Therapeutic support here is geared toward helping you lay a strong foundation for success by building effective coping strategies to manage triggers and prevent relapse. You can access support through standard outpatient care for mild symptoms or an intensive outpatient program that provides more structured care for moderate to severe symptoms. What I really appreciate about these programs is their flexibility as sessions are tailored to fit your lifestyle, helping you balance recovery with daily responsibilities.

Support Services Beyond Addiction Therapy

You’ll also receive an onsite psychiatric evaluation and treatment as part of the integrated offering to address co occurring mental health issues and support emotional stability. Tailored support, including financial counseling, is also available for individuals with primary or co occurring gambling challenges. They even provide information about HIV and can help connect you to testing and counseling services if necessary.

Random breathalyzer and urinalysis are used to monitor progress and compliance with treatment guidelines. They’ll help you smoothly transition to ongoing care through linkage to community services that support long term success and stability.
