The Recovery House of San Joaquin County Behavioral Health Services provides residential treatment to adults in French Camp, California. This coed facility requires men and women to be 18 years of age or older to receive their services. Accessing the facility should be easy as it is located near a major interstate.
Medicaid and Medicare is accepted. If you do not have insurance they are able to provide you with a discounted sliding fee scale, that will be based on the size and income of your household.
Aside from the age requirement, you must also be in need of treatment services for alcohol and/or drug dependence. They do follow the social model for detoxification. This means that your detox will not be medically monitored. You will have supervision during this time by both your fellow peers and non medical staff.
Everyone will be assessed by the ASAM screening tool. This is done to determine your appropriate level of care. If it is determined that medical care would be best for you, they will be able to provide you with a referral.
If you are pregnant or postpartum, you will be referred to their family ties program. This program stood out to me, as women will be able to receive specialized care for themselves and their newborn or unborn child. Children up to the age of five will be able to reside with you during treatment.
As mental health is treated, you will be able to receive services for co-occurring disorders. Their mental health and substance use disorder services are available in English and Spanish.
