About Recovery for Life

Recovery for Life is a nonprofit. substance abuse recovery program in Virginia Beach, Virginia. They’ve a range of treatment programs that includes sober living homes for men and different outpatient treatment programs. They recognize that addiction harms the whole family and design their programs for family inclusion.

Recovery for Life uses its counseling services to address a number of problems that addiction may have caused in your life. In addition to addressing addiction, they can help with marriage issues, stress, and other issues that may be exacerbated by, or fueling, addiction. Their men's sober living homes also make counseling services available to residents. Men in this program are also required to attend two house meetings a week.

Recovery of Life also has peer services. I like these because it allows you to learn and receive support from someone who has been where you are and completed treatment. When combined with the experience of your care team, they can broaden your base of support.
