About Project Turnabout

Project Turnabout's Willmar Campus is an addiction treatment center offering women's residential care and outpatient services for adults and teens ages 16 and older in Willmar, Minnesota.

The campus provides a structured continuum that includes inpatient treatment for women, intensive outpatient and phased outpatient programs, with integrated mental health and co-occurring gambling support.

Women's Residential Addiction Treatment

I noted that the Willmar campus is home to a 16-bed women's inpatient center designed as a dedicated space for women seeking recovery from substance use.

Treatment plans are individualized and trauma-informed, with comprehensive assessments guiding each client's care.

Programming combines counseling, group work, family education, peer support and relapse prevention, alongside medication management and psychiatric support when needed.

Proven approaches such as CBT, motivational interviewing, the Matrix Model and 12-step facilitation help clients address root causes while building practical recovery skills.

Step-Down Outpatient Care and Sober Living

Project Turnabout's phased outpatient model includes Intensive Outpatient, Phase One and Phase Two tracks which I appreciate include flexible daytime and evening scheduling for clients balancing work, school or family.

The campus also offers Cheri's Place sober living, townhome apartments for women pursuing educational or vocational goals and The Alcove meditation gazebo to support long-term wellness.
