About Project Hope Recovery Center
Project Hope Recovery Center is a faith based addiction treatment center in Houston, Texas offering long term residential care for men struggling with substance use disorders and life controlling issues. The program provides a 12 to 15 month Christ centered residential experience with work study components and around the clock support. Project Hope Recovery Center uses a holistic, non medical approach rooted in Christian discipleship to address mental, emotional and social, physical and spiritual well being.
Long Term Residential Programs
Men begin their recovery journey with a comprehensive residential inpatient program that lasts 12 to 15 months, allowing ample time to build lasting recovery skills and a new foundation. I think it's important to mention the highly structured daily schedule includes Bible study and chores in the morning, vocational work in the afternoon and recreation and mentoring in the evening.
Residents participate in individual counseling and group therapy, life skills development and a work study program that includes vocational training in areas such as woodworking, kitchen duties, maintenance and administrative tasks.
I think it's noteworthy that the program emphasizes peer support, relapse prevention planning and re entry preparation, with staff members who are often graduates of the program itself serving as mentors and living examples of successful recovery.
