Progressions Behavioral Health Services in Pottstown was a mental health clinic that delivered high-quality and compassionate care to children, adults and adolescents. They were located in suburban Pottstown, about 40 miles northwest of Philadelphia and a mile away from the popular Schuylkill River Trail within Montgomery County. However, this location has closed.

The clinic operated two models of care both aimed at improving the health and general wellbeing of the community residents. The first model was their primary outpatient care in which clients received personalized therapeutic support that was strength-based and trauma-sensitive. Services also included psychotherapy and medication management to help patients manage symptoms and improve coping skills for lasting recovery. Telehealth was available to enhance flexibility and eliminate transportation barriers to accessing care.

The second model was called behavioral health rehabilitation services (BHRS) or wraparound service delivered in the patient’s home, school, or any convenient community setting. This not only enhanced convenience but eased transportation costs. It also enabled clients to tap into their natural network of support as they navigate recovery.

One thing we loved about the Progressions Behavioral Health network was how their experts created a personal connection with clients. This fostered trust and a relaxing atmosphere to make it easier for clients to engage in therapy and work toward lasting recovery. As clients moved forward, they were referred to community resources to address primary medical care, housing and employment via case management. This helped maintain lasting recovery.
