About Progress Foundation

Progress Foundation Progress Place Napa is located on California Boulevard in Napa, California. Since 1982, they have provided transitional residential treatment programs focused on recovery and psychological rehabilitation.

Community-Based, Social Rehabilitation Approach to Treatment

They offer a community social rehabilitation approach rather than a traditional inpatient addition treatment model. I noticed that programs are designed to divert clients who may otherwise be involuntarily hospitalized for their conditions to more community-based programs in order to avoid institutionalization.

Progress Place works with adults and young age groups including transitional youths aged 16 and 17 as well as seniors over the age of 60. This is an unusual combination that allows generations to mix and learn and share from each other. The program lasts two weeks and is intended for folks who need stabilization services after they've experienced a crisis.

Coping Skills Training in a Structured Home-like Environment

Residential programs focus on coping skills and provide a safe environment for you to rehabilitation under the care of highly trained counselors. I'm glad that they also offer referrals and access to community services in order to help you continue your new sober lifestyle in a supportive environment.

Services include individual and group therapy, skills training and case management along with coping skills to ensure your ability to regain independence and successfully transition back to community living.

24/7 Ongoing Support and Crisis Intervention

Staff are available to you 24/7 to provide you with ongoing support and crisis intervention services, with stress empowerment, relationship-building, and peer support services available to you in order to ensure that you sustain recovery.

Located near downtown Napa, a region known for its serene and calming landscape, you can easily access Skyline Wilderness Park, for outdoor relaxation. There are also parks, amenities and community resources available that can be integral to your care and recovery.
