About Pro Active Behavioral Health

Based in Twin Falls, Idaho, ProActive Behavioral Health is a local mental and behavioral health provider that has been helping its community since 2002. This is just one of the company’s four treatment locations. Support is available to clients of all ages, including veterans. In fact, veterans may even qualify for Treatment and Recovery Support Services funding through the Idaho State Access to Recovery Grant (ART). Otherwise, discounted and sliding scale fees are also available.

Clients can access a range of services at this location, including case management, a full-service mental health clinic, life skills training and psychological testing and consultation. They also offer support groups and support programs.

In terms of addiction treatment services, these are available to teens and adults and include case management and life skills training services. Addiction and HIV/AIDs education, drug testing, recovery support and transport services are also available. Outpatient and intensive outpatient programs (IOP) are offered and feature anger management and money management support as well as recovery and resiliency workshops.

Clients can also access therapy through these programs, in both individual and group sessions. Different therapy styles are available, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and accelerated resolution therapy (ART). Special groups are available for individuals experiencing co-occurring substance use disorders and mental health issues, such as a co-occurring DBT group and a ‘Seeking Safety’ group. Life Skills groups are also available, as well as parent training. Clients may request gender-specific or bilingual counselors should they need them.
