About Prentice Place

Prentice Place is a transitional sober living home for adult men in a suburb of Chicago, IL. This home is a structured facility with a focus on clients who have experienced justice involvement or criminal referrals. This facility is near Roseland Christian Ministries, the DHS Family Community Resource Center, and other helpful community resources.

Post-Incarceration Transitional Living

Prentice Place supports those who were recently released from incarceration and need a transitional home to focus on recovery, relapse prevention, and life skills. This sober living home helps those who may be using medication-assisted treatment (MAT), though the home does not provide the prescriptions for MAT.

The home focuses on life skills, anger management, counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy, and other important transitional skills one may need after incarceration. There are no medications on site, nor staff for MAT, so those seeking that pathway need to find another support center.
