Preferred Behavioral Health, in Lakewood, New Jersey, offers a variety of programming to support the mental health of adolescents. SAIL is a program designed for adolescents from 13 to 17 years old who are experiencing emotional and/or behavioral challenges that disrupt their lives. This structured program is not traditional addiction treatment but includes several components that support teens in overcoming challenges and developing healthy habits.

Mental health support includes medical management and psychiatric evaluations, as well as individual therapy sessions. Parent support groups and family therapy offer opportunities for family systems to participate in healing. Proven methods, including cognitive behavioral therapy, help teens process trauma and intense emotions. SAIL coordinates with schools for referrals and additional support. Programming is five days a week in the afternoon and evening.
