About Positive Recovery Center Conroe
Positive Recovery Center is an outpatient drug and alcohol rehab facility located in Conroe, Texas. They treat adults for substance use disorder (SUD). They also treat people who struggle with a mental health condition and SUD at the same time. They take private insurance as well as self-pay.
I think the most impressive thing about this company is its founder, George Joseph. Mr Joseph has 30 years of experience and was the owner of the well-known rehab, The Right Step. He was named the Most Admired CEO by the Houston Business Journal in 2020.
The Admissions Process
You can have your intake meeting over the phone. You will be asked about your medical and psychological history. They will ask many questions about the types of drugs you use and how often you use them. These questions will determine the level of care you need.
The company runs both inpatient and outpatient facilities. If you need inpatient care, they will refer you to one of their other offices.
Treatment Programs
I like that this company offers a partial hospitalization program. This gives people who need a high level of treatment the opportunity to come in for 20 hours of therapy a week and go home at night.
They also have an intensive outpatient treatment program in which you will come in for several hours a day several times a week and a standard outpatient program in which you will come in once or twice a week for an hour.
All clients will have evidence-based group and individual therapy. Clients have the opportunity to participate in group recreational activities. They also offer classes in art and music appreciation. Understanding and discussing the arts can help people relieve stress and develop their intellect.
