These groups offer education and support for a range of addictive behaviors. The alumni group ensures you create and maintain a sober support system. The adolescent recovery group is for teens aged 13 through 17 who may be actively using substances or at risk of relapsing. Sessions cover a range of topics like relapse prevention, identifying triggers and feelings associated with substance use. The Family Recovery group provides support for people who have a loved one who has a substance use disorder. These addiction counseling groups are accepting new people at any time.
Other outpatient services include assessment, an individualized plan of care, case management and medication assisted treatment (MAT). An intensive outpatient program (IOP) for addiction treatment meets three times per week. This program lasts between three and eight weeks. To thrive in this program you’ll need to be able to commit to regular attendance and active participation.
