Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) in Brooklyn

Medication assisted treatment (MAT) is a recovery approach that gives clients medications and clinical services to help them heal both body and mind. This type of treatment supports both the biological and psychological aspects of addiction recovery.

They offer buprenorphine and naltrexone and work with local methadone clinics for those who are already taking methadone. Clients can also get support with transitioning off the medication by taking Suboxone, then naltrexone and then Vivitrol.

Book Services Online

What I love most about the way they’ve set up their services is that you can simply book what service you want online. Choose from Narcan training, an hour-long meeting with a certified peer advocate, a one-on-one session with a vocational counselor, or a meeting with a specific team member. This way you choose the services you need, when you need them.

Free Support in New York

Another excellent feature I see at the Center is their wide array of free programs. Their calendar features something new every day. From energy yoga and art therapy to BIPOC affirming community conversations. There’s something for everyone, and I think these social community events can go a long way in supporting people’s recovery.
