About Phoenix Associates Counseling Services

Phoenix Associates Counseling Services is an outpatient counseling center located in Dallas, Texas. They treat people for a variety of mental health issues and substance use disorder (SUD). It is a good place to go if you have co-occurring mental illness and SUD.

This is a non-profit organization. You will be able to find low-cost treatment at this facility whether you need it for legal or personal reasons. All of the people on their team are licensed mental health professionals.

Specialized Assessments

You can have assessments here for mental health conditions and SUD. They can be used for legal purposes, employment, or simply to determine the best treatment for you.

Services for Those in the Criminal Justice System

This counseling center can help anyone with their mental health and drug or alcohol addiction. They have specialized services, though, for people who are involved with the criminal justice system.

They can provide court ordered treatment and education plans here if you are required to complete them as part of your sentence or as a diversion program. They have partnerships with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice as well as US Probation and the Bureau of Prisons so they can coordinate your legal services as needed.

Case Management Services

I like the fact that you will have a case manager who meets with you at regular intervals to monitor your progress in therapy. I think it is important to note that a case manager can also assist you with housing and vocational training.
