About Pennsylvania Counseling Services

Pennsylvania Counseling Services is an outpatient drug and alcohol rehab offering substance use treatment for both adults and adolescents.

The Gettysburg office provides outpatient and intensive outpatient care alongside mental health counseling, psychiatric services and co-occurring disorder treatment.

As part of a regional organization with more than 40 years of experience, I like how PCS delivers integrated care that addresses addiction and mental health together.

Substance Use Therapy for Adolescents

Treatment often begins with an assessment and psychiatric evaluation to guide diagnosis, medication management and treatment planning.

From there, clients can access outpatient drug and alcohol treatment, while adults ages 18 and older may enter intensive outpatient therapy for more structured support.

Care includes therapy, with approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing.

I want to note that adolescent substance use therapy uses contingency management, and co-occurring mental health needs, trauma and family concerns are addressed through integrated counseling services.
