About Penfield Women’s Campus

Located in Lavonia, Georgia, Penfield Addiction Ministries’ SMART Campus is a substance abuse center for women. They’ve gender-specific programs for women and moms so you can focus on healing without outside distractions. It’s a faith-based recovery program that believes in holistic treatment methods to focus on the spiritual, mental, and physical aspects of addiction.

Before treatment, you’ll have an assessment to determine your recovery needs. Then you and your counselor will develop a plan of care that works for you. This personalized approach assists you with treatment where you need it most. Treatment plans are monitored and adjusted as you progress through the program.

Your counseling sessions will help you address addictive behaviors and develop healthy coping skills to manage them. The sessions are also helpful for working through anger and emotional triggers that lead to substance use. Counseling encourages you to take accountability and responsibility for your sobriety to help overcome addiction challenges.

They have a safe, nonjudgmental area where you can be open without fear of stigma. Together with your counselor, you’ll work on relapse prevention strategies for maintaining lifelong sobriety. Aftercare planning is included in the program to give you ongoing recovery support
