About PDAP of Ventura County

PDAP of Ventura County is a drug and alcohol rehab in Camarillo, CA. This non-profit organization provides outpatient addiction treatment for adolescents. Licensed addiction counselors meet individually or in groups weekly with kids who are experiencing trauma or substance abuse. Counselors also go to three different school districts to meet with students who are showing signs of drug and alcohol use. The goals of treatment include reducing or stopping drug and alcohol use, catching up on school work, and fulfilling court or probation requirements.

The adolescents in this program may have experienced abuse and neglect, or have been placed in group homes or foster care. Counselors run groups in the evenings on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at local churches. Kids learn how to improve communication with their parents or guardians, as well as make better choices for their lives.
