About Pathways Community Mental Health

Pathways Community Mental Health in Marquette, Michigan is an accredited provider of community-based mental health services, including support for substance abuse issues. Support is available to kids, teens, and adults, including dual-diagnosis individuals, regardless of gender, race, or ethnicity. Medicaid, Medicare, and children’s health insurances are accepted here.

Addiction treatment services here involve crisis services, as well as outpatient support. Before beginning treatment, clients will undergo a substance use disorder screening, as well as psychological and psychiatric testing to establish their behavioral health needs. From here, they will receive a personalized behavior treatment plan.

Medication administration may be prescribed to support individuals in managing mental health or withdrawal symptoms, alongside therapy and counseling for a rounded scope of care. Regular medication reviews ensure that prescriptions can be adapted to adjust to clients’ changing needs. Peer specialist services are also available on a drop-in basis to help individuals with things like food, clothing, social support, and housing as another element of behavioral care. Similarly, integrated employment and skill-building services offer ongoing support and training to provide individuals with opportunities to find stable employment.

Some of the unique services available at this facility also include autism-related services to accommodate individuals under 21 years of age who are on the spectrum. Crisis residential services are also available as short-term alternatives to hospitalization. Jail diversion can help individuals get the help they need by delaying incarceration, and settling clients into an appropriate level of care.

The center also offers community inpatient services to help stabilize clients’ behavioral health issues, or in the event of emergencies.

As far as the location of this facility, clients here are lucky enough to be based right near the peaceful shores of Lake Superior. This lively city rewards those willing to brave the elements for a good time, with fun activities available for every season. It features many natural hikes and walking trails, as well as beautiful views to soak in outside of treatment hours.
