About Pathway Counseling Services

Pathway Counseling Services is an outpatient mental health facility located in West Chester, Pennsylvania. This facility is licensed by the state of Pennsylvania to provide counseling for justice system clients. They treat folks who’ve been convicted of driving under the influence and other substance-related crimes, such as disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.

Cost of Treatment

They take cash and credit card payments. Evaluations cost between $100 and $200. Group counseling is charged by the session.

Multiple Groups for All

The facility provides full mental health and drug evaluations that the court will accept. I was happy to hear that the client always receives a copy of their evaluation.

In some cases, you can participate in Zoom therapy sessions. They've groups for specific genders and ages. Underage drinkers and drug users have their own group.

The DUI group teaches people how to deal with the stress of going through the court system. Group members will discuss how to modify their behavior to comply with the law and how to recognize the signs of addiction.

I like all of the different topics these sessions cover. In addition to a drug and alcohol group, they have sessions that focus on anger management and those that focus on co-parenting. There are even groups specifically for first-time offenders.

Specializing in Court Issues

The counselors are trained in many facets of the criminal justice system and can submit forms to the court on your behalf. They’re trained in the psychology of drug-related crimes.
