UC Health, formerly known as Parkview Adult Chemical Dependency Services, is a substance use disorder treatment facility for adults and is located in Pueblo, Colorado. This facility takes most major insurances but also has plans for those seeking emergency care and do not have insurance. They feel that no one should be turned away because of inability to pay. You may qualify for free or discounted services.

Substance Use Disorder and Co-occurring Issues

This facility works with you to treat both substance use disorders and any co-occurring mental health issues that you may have. Many times, substance use disorder stems from an unrealized mental health issue, and treating both will give you a better chance at a successful recovery.

Here, they will start you where you need to be, whether it is detox, typically lasting 3-5 days, residential treatment, or outpatient therapy. Regardless of which level of care you begin with, you will receive holistic treatments to help you get on the road to recovery. Your treatment will include addiction psychiatry, primary care and integrated addiction medicine, as well as counseling for you and your family.

They also have a zoo, seven art galleries, and seven history museums. I think these offer great opportunities to pursue new sober interests or relax and reflect between treatment sessions.
