About Outpatient Behavioral Health Services

The Kaheiheimaile Building’s Outpatient Behavioral Health Services has helped locals for more than 50 years. They're centered on the corner of Nuuanu Avenue and Vineyard Boulevard, right next to Zippy’s. It’s in Honolulu, Hawaii. They provide comprehensive behavioral health services to children and adults.

When arriving at their facility, clients get full assessments of their conditions to determine what type of treatment plan may be best suited. Their outpatient services are offered to folks who don’t require 24/7 supervision, but benefit from daily, structured therapy and education programs.

Psychiatric Care for Youths and Adults

Their psychiatric care program provides therapy, medication management and education programs to address and treat your conditions. They utilize dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to help you work through past traumas and get to the root cause of addictions or mental health disorders.

I like that they will provide you with coping and life skills so that you may be better prepared during difficult life transitions or conflicts.

In-Office Referrals

I find it re-assuring to know that they have a fully integrated care team of providers including substance abuse counselors, therapists, psychiatric nurses, recreational therapists, psychologists and social workers to help you heal from your behavioral health conditions.

They also offer access to comprehensive care including primary care, pharmacy, nutrition and faith-based services. If your conditions are acute, they can refer you to Kekela or their Family Center for inpatient care.
