About Our Common Ground

Our Common Ground is a CARF accredited, nonsectarian nonprofit providing substance use and mental health services to adults across San Mateo County and the greater San Francisco Bay Area.

Its Woodside Road location serves as a Recovery Residence, offering therapeutic supportive housing for adults navigating co-occurring substance use and mental health needs.

Since 1988, I like that OCG has helped clients sustain progress through a family like environment built on peer support and accountability.

Therapeutic Supportive Housing

The Woodside Road Recovery Residence provides safe, structured housing for adults participating in outpatient treatment.

As part of OCG's full continuum of care, this setting helps residents reinforce recovery skills while remaining connected to counseling and community support.

OCG's strengths based therapeutic community model centers on positive peer interaction and individualized rehab planning.

Residents benefit from a nurturing, accountable atmosphere that emphasizes trust, honesty and responsibility, addressing both recovery and the underlying patterns that support long term wellness.

Whole Person Support

Beyond housing, OCG offers trauma informed care that addresses boundaries and self esteem, assertiveness and relationships.

Clients can access substance use and mental health counseling, family involvement and conflict resolution, anger management and vocational preparation. This whole person approach helps adults rebuild stability across every area of life.

Next Steps

OCG's Recovery Residence is located at 631 Woodside Road in Redwood City, with additional outpatient and residential services offered elsewhere in the Bay Area.

I want to note that the organization holds a three year CARF accreditation, reflecting its long standing commitment to quality care since 1988.

OCG accepts private insurance when it is an in network provider and staff can help you verify coverage.
