About Reach for Recovery

Reach for Recovery in Holland, Michigan, is a rehabilitation facility dedicated to helping individuals and their families heal from the impact of alcohol and drug addiction. As a non profit organization they make sure everyone has access to the same specialized care with a sliding fee scale based on what you can pay.

You’ll work together with your personal therapist to create a customized treatment plan that best suits your needs and recovery goals as well as any co-occurring mental health disorders. This Reach for Recovery location provides outpatient treatment services for substance use disorder but they also have separate residential facilities for men and women in Michigan. You may be referred to one of those facilities if you have more complex needs.

Outpatient treatment consists of a program of individual and group therapy that will help you confront and accept your addiction and discover new ways to think about yourself and why you use substances. Group therapy at Reach for Recovery covers a variety of topics that help you gain a better understanding of addiction, create a personal recovery plan and learn relapse prevention tools.

Some of their additional outpatient services include medication assisted treatment (MAT), family support groups, trauma-focused treatment, gender-specific early recovery groups, 12-step meetings, addiction education for individuals and families and driver’s license assessments.

One of the great things about Reach for Recovery is its peer recovery coaches. They are specially trained recovery coaches who have lived experience of addiction and how to come out of the other side. They provide extra support during the early days of your recovery, lead group meetings and help you practice the skills that will help you maintain sobriety.
