About Operation PAR Pasco County

Operation PAR offers a full continuum of care for substance use disorder. They offer residential treatment and detoxification right through to outpatient treatment and telehealth services. Whether you’re a child, an adult, or have a loved one affected by substance use disorder, Operation PAR is there to provide support and treatment.

The Port Richey, Florida, location specializes in medication assisted treatment (MAT) programs, which have a proven track record in improving recovery outcomes for clients addicted to opiates. In combination with behavioral therapies and counseling, PAR uses effective medications to address uncomfortable cravings and withdrawal symptoms.

Additional addiction recovery treatment options in the medication assisted treatment programs include an in-depth behavioral analysis, physical exams and lab work to identify any medical issues, specialized pregnancy treatment options, and coaching by trained staff. The good news is that all of Operation PAR’s medication assisted treatment locations accept Medicaid and many private insurance plans.

Care teams create personalized care plans to help clients break free of addiction. Treatment services may include medication management, individual therapy, gender-specific counseling, behavioral interventions, vocational training, anger management therapy, creative arts therapy, and continuing care for long term recovery.

Recreation therapy might also be available. The center isn’t too far from Port Richey Waterfront Park and the Cotee River. Orange Grove Park is also pretty close, and you can unwind and exercise.

Outpatient services are also available at Operation PAR to help clients continue the recovery process. These services include family counseling, individual and group therapy, psychiatric evaluations, random drug testing, life management skills, HIV and hepatitis risk education, and referrals for aftercare.
