About Open Door Mission

Open Door Mission is a faith based addiction treatment center in Houston, Texas offering long term residential recovery for men struggling with substance use disorders.

The mission emphasizes spiritual growth and accountability along with life skills development which I believe helps men break the cycle of addiction and rebuild their lives.

Addiction Treatment Programs at Open Door Mission

Clients begin in a long term residential recovery program that guides them through structured phases designed to address the root causes of addiction. The program creates a safe and supportive setting where men can focus entirely on healing and developing healthy habits while preparing for independent living.

Residents participate in daily chapel services and Bible studies, client counseling and life skills classes, and work based rehabilitation as part of their recovery journey. The program also includes mentoring and discipleship as well as transitional support to help men successfully reenter the community.

I find it impressive that all services are provided at no cost to residents which is made possible through donor support and ministry partnerships.
