About Omega Recovery

Based in Austin, Texas, Omega Recovery is designed to treat all kinds of addiction. A treatment center for the modern age, they can help with technology and digital addiction, as well as substance abuse. Care is available to adults aged 18 and older, regardless of gender, ethnicity, or sexuality.

Firstly, I think the concept of a center that specializes in all kinds of addiction is fantastic. Omega clearly gets the science behind it all, and can provide the solutions to boot. Whether you’re struggling with an unmanageable phone addiction, mental health issues, substance abuse, or all of the above — they’ve got you covered. Their treatment offering includes partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, as well as a more casual outpatient program. They also offer telehealth services for those unable to make in person appointments for whatever reason.

Their holistic care involves a range of therapies, including group, individual therapy, and family therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, somatic therapy, and more. I also love their offering of alternative and recreational activities. Some highlights include nature immersion, Japanese karate as therapy, mindfulness meditation, stress reduction, and yoga 12 step education.

I think their ‘Thrive in Thirty’ case management program is also a great initiative. Born out of the realization that a client’s first 30-60 days of treatment are some of the most crucial, this program focuses its support on this critical adjustment period. As a result, it’s designed to offer invaluable structure and support to reduce the risk of relapse.

Reviews from former clients are overall very positive. Many praise their comprehensive approach, with some noting their expertise and compassion set them apart from other similar facilities.

Amenities

Yoga Studio

Treatment centers with a yoga studio offer a special form of holistic therapy during the recovery process. Yoga boosts mindfulness, a sense of calm, and healthy reflection during drug rehab via breathing exercises, stretching, and a progression of specific postures.

Adventure Therapy

Hiking is a great way to relieve stress, get perspective, navigate challenges, connect with nature, and improve your health - all essential components of sustaining long-term recovery. Studies also show that the body releases endorphins during physical activities like hiking. These endorphins improve mood and act as a natural pain reliever.

Levels of Care
