About Oasis Behavioral Health

OASIS Behavioral Health Services is located in Barboursville, West Virginia, and is dedicated to helping you find “a welcome relief from life’s difficulties.” The clinicians and staff want to provide you with quality mental health and substance use services so you can have a better quality of life.

The center has recently become a member of The International Center for Clinical Excellence (ICCE) which is all about providing excellent services through behavioral healthcare systems. Former clients have commended the center for its effective programs, supportive staff, and clean environment.

Outside of the center’s resources, there are also relaxing parks and other attractions you and your loved ones can visit that are near the center. I think these can help promote a connection to nature and the local community. Barboursville Park has walking trails, picnic areas, and sport facilities. Heritage Farm Museum & Village is also not too far off by auto.

Addiction Treatment, Referrals, and DOT/SAP

To help with opioid, opiate, and alcohol addiction, OASIS offers a collaboration with your medical prescriber for medication assisted treatment programs. Substance use treatment is offered to individuals, families, and groups. This can consist of a combination of evaluation and counseling sessions.

There are also opportunities to explore referrals if you’re seeking more intensive care than the services OASIS offers. I noticed they have a network of the top treatment programs to assist in finding what will provide you with the best care.

OASIS also has specialized services from the U.S Department of Transportation (DOT) and with the help of substance abuse professionals (SAP). They help with responsibilities related to individuals who have tested positive for alcohol and/or controlled substance use.
