About North Coast Substance Abuse Council
North Coast Substance Abuse Council, also known as Crossroads, is a residential treatment center for men. It’s located in Eureka, California. There’s another center right next door for women. It’s not far from Arcata Bay and the roadways to Tuluwat Island.
They’re 3.1 ASAM certified to treat drug and alcohol addiction. In existence since 1975, they’re known for their compassionate care and evidence-based treatments.
Case management services and counseling are a couple of their key programs which work to meet your practical needs as you work on healing and recovering from substance use disorder. They use Seeking Safety interventions which is a therapeutic model that focuses on helping you achieve emotional wellness in your thoughts as you recall traumatic memories which impact your choices and substance use.
What we value most about them is their inclusion of medication assisted treatment (MAT) to help you detox from chemicals.
