About NFI – Community Interventions
NFI Community Interventions is a community based addiction treatment program in Arlington, Massachusetts offering residential care and aftercare support for clients navigating substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns.
The program is grounded in trauma informed, culturally responsive, and family centered care which I discovered is guided by NFI's signature Normative Community Approach.
Addiction Treatment and Experiential Therapy
Clients enter through a residential level of care designed to address alcohol use, drug use, and dual diagnosis needs in a supportive community setting. From there aftercare services help clients and families maintain progress as they transition back into daily life.
Treatment includes counseling and experiential therapy delivered through a trauma informed lens. I found that the Normative Community Approach emphasizes communication, problem solving, and social skill development to support lasting change.
