About Nexus Recovery Center

The Nexus Recovery Center is located in Dallas, Texas. They offer addiction treatment for women who are 18 years of age and older. There’s inpatient (IP) care, detox, and outpatient (OP) programs.

Insurance is accepted. If you do not have insurance, they will help regardless of your ability to pay.

Their residential treatment program is split in two. They have the adult women's program and a track for pregnant and parenting women with children.

The adult women’s program is for women who are 18 years of age and older that are not pregnant or actively parenting during your treatment. You will live on campus until treatment is completed. You will have a daily full schedule. You’ll attend individual and group therapy, as well as participate in activities.

Their pregnant and parenting women with children program is for adult women in all stages of pregnancy and mothers. The mothers are able to bring up to three children between the ages of 0-12 years old. Your treatment plan would include family education sessions, postpartum support and parenting education classes.

I like that they have a child development center on campus. The child development center is a fully licensed child care center. This allows mothers to focus on their recovery, knowing their children are safe. Children between the ages of infancy to school aged children are allowed. They do accept children of outpatient clients, the community, and staff. If your child is part of the residential program they will be offered occupational therapy and speech therapy.

Medical detox is also available. You will be provided with constant monitoring and care. If needed, medication assisted treatment is available. They also offer intensive outpatient treatment and recovery support services.

You will also be able to receive treatment for co-occurring disorders. Care is available through their psychiatric services.
