About New Season Birmingham Metro Treatment Center
The Birmingham Metro Treatment Center of New Season is located in Birmingham, Alabama. They are an outpatient opioid addiction treatment center which provides adults with services.
A great thing about them is that they accept both Medicaid and Medicare. They also accept private insurance. If you do not have insurance, you may actually be able to qualify for low cost or free treatment.
What instantly stood out to me is that they are open seven days a week. They also provide dosing hours seven days a week. I like that even on Holidays you will be able to receive treatment or your next dose.
A medical exam will be done before you commence any treatment. The medical exam is done to ensure your safety. Once that is completed, the staff will then be able to create your customized treatment plan. The treatment plan is going to be based on your needs and goals.
You will be able to take care of your daily responsibilities such as attending school, work and your family responsibilities, through their outpatient program. It also allows you to learn how to navigate recovery in your present day to day life.
Your medication assisted treatment (MAT) will be combined with counseling. The medications they use are Methadone, Suboxone, and buprenorphine. If you’re unable to attend inpatient care, this is a wonderful low cost option. They will be able to treat the psychological and physiological components of your addiction.
With counseling, you’ll be able to learn why you became addicted in the first place. You will also learn to identify your triggers. By being able to identify your triggers you will learn how to handle loss and setbacks. Your counselor will also help you learn new ways to positively cope with stress.
