About New Morning Youth & Family

Located in Placerville, California, New Morning Youth and Family Services is an outpatient counseling center for adolescents with substance use disorder and other concerns. Serving clients ages 12-18, this facility provides attentive counseling at the counseling center, in schools, in homes, or over telehealth with licensed and qualified mental health providers.

This is a community resource with a variety of programs for the youth it serves, including the county’s only 24-hour emergency youth shelter called The Ashby House. The counseling center has additional community programs as well including its summer internship program, foster youth life skills program, Latino outreach program, and queer youth advocacy program.
