About New Life of Community Health Services
New Life of Community Health Services is a community mental and behavioral health care organization with several locations in Pennsylvania. Outpatient services are provided at two locations, including the facility in Bensalem. Saturday hours are available in their Bustleton location.
Services include counseling for individuals dealing with mental health and co-occurring substance use disorder issues. Services include psychiatric assessments and evaluations, therapy, and psychopharmacology.
New Life providers are happy to offer referrals for clients who need more intensive or targeted addiction treatment therapies, such as a residential treatment program. I think many will appreciate that they can pay for counseling services with most types of insurance, including Medicare and Medicaid. The facility is near I-95 and the local country club.
Providing Culturally Competent Treatment Services
The clinic emphasizes mental health treatment more than addiction treatment, but clients with mental health and behavioral conditions can receive counseling here. The staff offers culturally competent services and strives to reduce disparities in access to behavioral health care for underserved communities. The staff is multilingual for your convenience.
Understanding Adult Outpatient Services
New Life focuses on adults and seniors. I think it’s important to note that as of 2019, state regulations define adults as aged 21 or older, so anyone 20 and under will likely be referred elsewhere.
Medicaid is accepted and some private insurers are as well for therapy and psychiatric care. No private insurance is taken for therapy alone.
