About New Life For Adults and Youth

Based in Richmond, Virginia, New Life For Adults and Youth is a private drug rehab ministry that has been offering faith based support to those living with addiction for over 52 years. Twelve to 18 month residential programs are available for young adults, adult men and women, including mothers.

New Life’s recovery homes offer shelter and structure for individuals struggling with addiction, with separate quarters for men and women. Mothers can stay with their children. As part of these treatment programs, dual diagnosis care is offered to those struggling with concurrent mental health issues. Regimented programming sees individuals supported through mentoring, life skills education, spiritual development and faith based activities such as bible studies and chapel services. Clients follow a full schedule designed to provide a holistic road to recovery. Vocational and academic training is also available to set clients up for success as they transition back to daily life after treatment. In the last month of the residential program, clients are assessed and supported in New Life’s personalized re-entry program.

New Life accepts self pay options but unfortunately does not accept insurance. However, clients may be referred to additional care that accepts private insurance plans such as Blue Cross, Aetna, Cigna and Humana. Clients are always advised to clarify coverage regarding out of network benefits.
