About New Hope of Arizona, Inc.

New Hope of Arizona in Phoenix, Arizona focuses on making the lives of children and youth better by offering outpatient substance abuse treatment for adults and residential treatment programs for youth. They provide short-term treatment services to children, youth and adults. Their main goal is to keep families together and make their quality of life as good as it can be.
One of the main services that New Hope of Arizona provides is for children and youth who are experiencing behavioral and emotional instability. They have therapeutic group homes to help provide a safe and compassionate home like environment that provides structure and support when they can’t be at home.

Positive Experiences and Behavior Support

Behavior modification and emotion regulation are important aspects of treatment within the therapeutic group home environment. Youth are given skills to live independently, learn de-escalation techniques, and have positive behavior support 24/7.
Youth residents will attend groups that teach coping skills and communication strategies through both peer groups, activities and through individual and family therapy. They will also have access to community-based support groups such as AA or NA.

Outpatient and Community Based Support

For those who aren’t part of the residential therapeutic group home program there are still supports available. Outpatient counselling and therapy are offered for children, youth, and adults. This can be for individuals or for the entire family, depending on need.
