New Freedom Academy is a 20 bed residential treatment facility that is part of Granite Recovery Centers. NFA specializes in dual diagnosis treatment of individuals with substance use and severe mental health disorders. Their programs are for 30 to 90 days. Clinicians will help to determine the appropriate length of treatment and placement following a comprehensive mental health assessment. Program activities include individual and group therapy, family counseling services, psychoeducation, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), relapse prevention, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), wellness education, illness management, Seeking Safety treatment, and skill development.
