About New Beginnings Lake Charles
The addiction treatment center New Beginnings Lake Charles was located in Lake Charles, Louisiana, but is now closed. Their program offered a full continuum of care for adults living with substance use disorder. This included detox and inpatient treatment, a partial hospitalization program, and intensive and general outpatient programming. They also provided dual diagnosis care for those with a co-occurring mental illness.
Everyone experiences substance use disorder differently. While you may not need every level of care, having the option at hand is never a bad idea, especially when it’s available in one location. By progressing through the continuum from a high level of care through less intensive stages, you’ll get more support in balancing recovery with your daily responsibilities. You’ll also have the benefit of continuing your care with the same team of providers.
They also had an alumni program. That way, you can stay in contact with your peers and share updates. You’ll also have plenty of opportunities for reunions and partake in community events. Your recovery is life-long, and so are the connections you’ll make.
What made New Beginnings Lake Charles stand out was their intensive family program. Friends and families of those in treatment need help too, whether that means learning more about addiction itself or addressing their own trauma. Family involvement can also boost success in treatment and in maintaining sobriety during post treatment.
This location is closed, but other facilities in the area offer the same or similar services.
