About Monadnock Family Services

Monadnock Family Services is a nonprofit community based substance use treatment program in Keene, New Hampshire offering outpatient addiction care alongside comprehensive mental health services.

Located on Main Street, I've found that the organization provides individualized outpatient treatment, medication for opioid use disorder and recovery support for adults with cooccurring conditions.

As one of New Hampshire's designated community mental health centers since 1905, MFS integrates addiction treatment within a broader wraparound model of behavioral health care.

MOUD Clinic Offerings at MFS

After an assessment, clients access outpatient addiction and mental health services designed for those who do not require 24 hour supervision.

MFS also operates a Keene based MOUD clinic offering psychiatric and medical evaluations and medications for opioid use disorder.

Clients, I've learned can expect individual counseling, group therapy and family counseling.

They also can expect psychoeducation, relapse prevention support and coping skills development.

Medication management, aftercare, case management and referrals round out a recovery oriented approach that addresses both addiction and mental health needs.

Levels of Care

Outpatient Rehab

During outpatient rehab in New Hampshire, you’ll attend a support group such as NA or AA. You’ll also attend regular sessions with a recovery expert and may also attend group therapy. These treatments are designed to develop sober-living skills and prevent relapse.

Aftercare & Alumni Program

After you complete early phases of rehab, you’ll be eligible for aftercare rehab in New Hampshire. Studies have shown that those who take advantage of these programs are far less likely to relapse. They provide ongoing support services, for a year or more, as you face the challenges of maintaining sobriety.

Dual Diagnosis & Mental Health

Payment Options

Private Insurance

Your private insurance may help cover the cost of alcohol and drug rehab in New Hampshire. The amount your rehab insurance covers will depend on your policy and whether the treatment center is in network or out of network. You may be left with some costs like a co-payment, or co-insurance. Check with your insurer for more information.

Self-Pay Options

If you’re in New Hampshire and looking for help with drug or alcohol addiction, you have the option of paying for treatment through self-pay, also known as private pay. This can give you the freedom to choose the right level of care for you — whether that is detox, inpatient rehab, or outpatient rehab — at the location in New Hampshire you want, because you’re not restricted to the limitations of private insurers.

Sliding Scale Payment

If you need help paying for alcohol and drug rehab in New Hampshire but cannot afford the full cost, you may be eligible for a sliding scale payment plan. This can give you access to all levels of care, including detox and inpatient rehab. To qualify for this treatment discount, you must complete an application and provide supporting financial documentation.

Payment Plans & Financing

For those who are underinsured or uninsured, paying the total cost of a rehab program up front is not feasible. Fortunately, many alcohol and drug rehabs make financing available to potential clients through private loans, in-house payment plans, or partner lenders. You can choose a finance package that lets you start treatment immediately and pay for it later.

Financial Aid

If you need help paying for alcohol and drug rehab in New Hampshire and don't have insurance, you may be eligible for financial aid. Financial assistance options include grants, scholarships, non-profit programs, personal funding, and health insurance programs to help you manage the expense of substance abuse treatment.

Medicaid Accepted

If you’re struggling to pay for rehab, you may be eligible for Medicaid. The coverage available to you through Medicaid can help with the cost of alcohol and drug rehab in New Hampshire and can provide access to all levels of care.

Medicare Accepted

If you have Medicare, you may have options available through Granite Advantage to help cover the cost of alcohol and drug rehab in New Hampshire. The amount of coverage will depend on many things, including whether you are seeking inpatient or outpatient treatment for substance abuse.

TRICARE

Administered by the Department of Defense, TRICARE offers comprehensive military health insurance plans for active and retired military members and their families.
