About Mesa Springs Innovations Timberland Boulevard
Mesa Springs Innovations Timberland Boulevard offers mental health treatment for children and adolescents in Fort Worth, Texas. Here you’ll choose from a partial hospitalization program or an intensive outpatient program. This program treats conditions like depression, anxiety, addiction and suicidal ideation. Treatment begins with a confidential assessment and personalized recovery plan.
The partial hospitalization program is a full day experience with individual, group and family therapy sessions. Kids will be able to identify negative thoughts, emotions and behaviors. Groups meet daily for two to four weeks. They’ll also engage in activities like yoga, art and music. Medication management is provided on site by a board certified psychiatrist.
The intensive outpatient program is for kids who do not require intensive inpatient treatment but need more than basic individual counseling. Kids generally attend groups several times per week. Sessions will cover topics like understanding emotions, conflict resolution and triggers. Treatment will help kids develop self awareness and emotional management.
One great component of this program is that it includes an accredited high school and middle school curriculum in order for clients to maintain academics during treatment. Relationships are maintained with all local school counselors to ensure kids receive credit for the work they do while attending treatment. Children will also have the opportunity to attend groups that are of personal interest to them like gender specific group therapy or LGBTQIA+ groups.
Previous clients of Innovations say the staff was friendly and helpful. However, they note that there may be a waitlist for this treatment program.
