Every Day Drop Ins

There are three drop in centers located in Vero Beach, Okeechobee, and Stuart, Florida that are peer operated for those seeking help outside the center’s hours. These are open every day of the year and provide a nonjudgmental and confidential space for people to come together. There are many recreational activities available such as community outings, expression through music and art, and computer labs.

For families looking for mental health resources, the Parent and Child center can provide psychiatric services, group therapy, and academic skill building. Most services are offered at no cost and hospital district funding is available to clients with low income.

They have a wide range of support groups here for specific populations and needs. Veterans Meetup, Mood & Anxiety, and Women’s Support Group in Vero Beach all hold meetings and events for people to meet up and connect with each other. These therapies have been around for centuries, and they are an effective way to improve well-being. Combining addiction treatment, yoga, and meditation can reduce cravings, improve sleep, relieve anxiety and depression, provide stress relief, promote relaxation, support emotional healing, and improve energy levels.
