Using a holistic and strengths based treatment philosophy, McPike Addiction Treatment Center supports adult men and women to achieve and sustain long term recovery through their structured program and experienced treatment team. This includes a comprehensive assessment, individualized treatment planning, individual and group therapy, symptom management, personal development, education, and skills workshops. Residents learn relapse prevention strategies, coping skills, stress management techniques, job readiness, communication skills, and life skills. Residents also receive support around criminal justice involvement, transitioning back into the community following incarceration, and returning to work. Residents can also attend 12 step recovery groups, which involve attending regular recovery support meetings and working through the 12 step program of recovery as outlined by Alcoholics Anonymous. The women’s program provides trauma informed care, education, and peer support. Each resident also receives a comprehensive discharge plan with a focus on continuing care and resources within their community.
McPike Addiction Treatment Center also offers opioid overdose prevention training to the local community, using the lifesaving drug Narcan.
