In Northeast Texas, Managed Care Walker House provides a sober living environment with an intensive outpatient program. This facility is in Lubbock serves men and women with substance use disorders. To be accepted into the program, you’ll need to follow all guidelines, must be active in recovery, and must attend four recovery meetings per week.
Intensive Outpatient Program With Daily Meetings
After enrolling in the intensive outpatient program you can expect to engage in 12 step meetings, psychoeducational groups, and mental health counseling. After 30 days of treatment, you’ll be eligible to start working as long as you’ve progressed to the fourth step. I noticed that random urine analyses are given once a week. If you take medication, you’ll need to bring 30 days of medication while you live at Walker House.

While they accept most insurance plans, Walker House offers a self-pay option that is $150 per week and includes WiFi and utilities.
