Same Day Services
The Longview VA Clinic offers outpatient substance use disorder treatment focused on evidence based care for alcohol and drug dependence.
I'd like to note that Veterans can access medication assisted treatment for alcohol use disorder and opioid use disorder, along with counseling and recovery supports.
Treatment incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy, group therapy and support groups within a whole health framework.
Same day services are available for urgent mental health needs and care is coordinated with other VA services to address underlying conditions like trauma, depression or anxiety.
Mental Health Care
The clinic provides specialized, evidence based therapies for PTSD, recognizing how trauma often intersects with substance use among Veterans.
I want to add that mental health professionals also treat mood disorders and anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder and other conditions offering integrated support tailored to each Veteran's needs.

The clinic operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CT.
