About Living Hope Clinic

The Living Hope Clinic of Boise, Idaho, provides outpatient services to those with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, including food and sex addiction. Medicare, Medicaid, and Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) with mental health coverage are accepted. Telehealth and phone services are available for those who are housebound or live in rural areas.

Programs for a Variety of Patient Populations

Offering individual and marriage counseling, they treat children, teens, transitional age young adults, adults and seniors. Special programs are designed for members of the military and their families as well as for those who are court referred. I like that they also treat those with Alzheimer’s and dementia. Children with serious emotional disturbance (SED) and persons with serious mental illness (SMI) are welcome. They also have a dedicated program for those with eating disorders.

Gestalt Therapy and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy

I found it interesting that they provide Gestalt Therapy, which works to resolve unfinished business and increase self awareness through roleplay. Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, which focuses on past influences on present behavior, is emphasized, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), which addresses negative thought patterns, is also utilized. Rational hypnotherapy is available. Christian based counseling services are offered.

Positive Client Feedback

They have an overall positive rating of 4.4 out of 5 on Google, as well as an A+ with the Better Business Bureau. Clients praise the exceptional environment and the kindness of the reception staff. While some clients have expressed concerns about their diagnostic process, others cite significant improvements in personal well being and coping skills after participating in therapy.

Women's Rehab

Women need different types of treatment approaches for addiction than men. Women’s rehab in Idaho offers gender-specific treatment, so women can achieve successful recovery.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive behavioral therapy in Idaho helps individuals overcome addiction by giving them self-help tools to improve their moods, teaching them communication skills, and helping them release insecurities that lead to substance use.

Drug Rehab

For seniors, elderly rehab in Idaho can provide a supportive environment that is sensitive to senior’s needs. This specialized treatment, among supportive peers, can help produce positive recovery outcomes.

Rational Behavior Therapy (RBT)

Rational emotive behavioral therapy in Idaho is effective for substance abuse treatment because it targets negative behaviors, enhances support mechanisms, and treats emotional problems associated with addiction. It is a common treatment for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues.

Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is an evidence-based complementary approach to addiction treatment in which clients enter an induced state of deep relaxation. Once the client has entered this hypnotic state, the hypnotherapist uses various techniques, including guided imagery and positive affirmations, to help clients “unlearn” negative behaviors, such as substance misuse, and adopt healthy ones. The approach supports clients’ long-term mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing and reduces their risk of relapse by tapping into the power of the subconscious mind.

Levels of Care

Outpatient Rehab

Outpatient rehab in Idaho involves attending one-on-one counseling sessions several times per week, as well as support group meetings. You’ll live at home during this treatment, and work on relapse prevention. The timeline for this treatment varies by individual, based on your recovery needs.

Dual Diagnosis & Mental Health

If a mental health disorder such as anxiety or depression is co-occurring with substance abuse, you are more likely to relapse or self-medicate. Idaho dual diagnosis treatment provides the resources you need to treat both conditions and improve recovery outcomes.

Drug & Alcohol Intervention

You don’t have to know everything about interventions to help your loved one. Staff members who provide intervention services in Idaho help family members during the planning and execution stages of an intervention. They can also help you effectively encourage an addicted loved one to embrace recovery.
