About The Lighthouse

Helping clients in the areas of Memphis, Tennesse, The Lighthouse provides programs that help people with addiction overcome their problems and turn their lives around through the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ. Clients are supported in making the transition from homelessness and addiction to a sober life filled with purpose through an intensive outpatient program, transitional housing, and a back to work program.

Outpatient treatment at The Lighthouse is designed to help clients develop essential coping strategies, establish support mechanisms, and learn relapse prevention skills. This is achieved through individual and group counseling, support groups, peer support, case management, and psychiatric screening for co-occuring mental health disorders. Their counseling takes various proven approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, the matrix model, and 12 step principles.

The Lighthouse also offers the Nehemiah Program, a post-incarceration program that helps former inmates reintegrate into their communities and maintain sobriety.
