About Park Place Recovery Center

Park Place provides non-medical detox. This is also known as social detox. This service is ideal for those who have minor physical withdrawal symptoms. You’ll be monitored and supported during this phase without the use of medications.

Clients get access to a custom treatment plan that’s developed by you and your therapist. You’ll make goals for your stay and work toward them as you’re supported by individual counseling. Getting your family involved is vital to help you begin a new chapter of your life. Family sessions will help heal the damage in your relationships with your loved ones.

You’ll also get access to education and therapy groups. Here, you’ll learn about the effects of addiction on the brain and body and get positive and caring support from your peers. You’ll grow your awareness and begin to change your behavior. You’ll also join in social and recreational activities that support sobriety. This will help you develop sober social skills and new hobbies and interests.

Park Place will connect clients with local 12-step recovery groups for additional support. Meetings happen several times a week. Guest speakers and step studies occur weekly.

If you need it, Park Place can get you a referral for medication or a psychiatric evaluation.

I like that they offer weekly aftercare group meetings once you complete your residential program. This ongoing support gives you a chance to stay connected to the recovery community, get peer support and improve your recovery skills.
